單星八分法 BAV：八個參考如何構成一格
理解 Bhinnashtakavarga 的 0—8 原始格值，辨別 SAV 和來源明細，檢查相同合計背後不同的貢獻者。

Bhinnashtakavarga，簡稱 BAV，是單一目標行星的八分法表。每格由八個二元貢獻相加，所以削減前的原始數值介於 0 與 8。

看到四點，應如何解讀？
在指定規則下，有四個參考對這個目標行星、這個星座給出 1。它不代表四顆有利行星正在那裡，也不是所有目標行星加總的 SAV。
BAV 匯總後不再顯示每一位貢獻者。prastara 等細表保留來源身分，因此想知道「哪些參考」時，不能只停在「總共有幾個」的層次。
兩組不同的四點
設來源順序是太陽、月亮、火星、水星、木星、金星、土星、上升點。[1,0,1,1,0,0,1,0] 合計 4；[0,1,0,1,1,0,0,1] 也合計 4。
這是示意加法，不是已排出的出生盤。兩組總數相等，來源卻不一樣；僅比對最後的 4，就無法發現貢獻者被替換或資料表不同。
既有報告一定有這些明細嗎？
OpenFate 已核對的政策以保存的提示契約控制 BAV 顯示，從契約 4 起支援。不能因為現在程式能計算，就認定舊報告已有這些新分項。
不可用的資料應如實說明，不能把 SAV 除以七當作每顆星的 BAV。各目標行星有不同的表，一個合計無法唯一還原七個數。
