Bhratrikaraka 指示星：BK 與手足關係的界線

Bhratrikaraka，簡稱 BK，是變動指示星的第三名。傳統上與手足有關，但這個角色不能驗證親屬存在、健康、行為或關係品質。

為什麼 BK 不一定是火星？
火星在所引傳統中有手足的自然指示意義；BK 則是從特定命盤的星座內進度分配而來。兩者屬於不同種類的指示關係，不能互換。
第三宮及其主星還是其他獨立欄位。排第三並不表示落第三宮或掌管第三宮，閱讀時請把角色、星曜位置和宮主分別列出。
第三名落在金星
假設木星 27°、水星 23°、金星 21°、火星 17°、月亮 11°、土星 6°、太陽 2°。七項法中金星前面有兩顆天體，因此取得 BK。
火星在此為第四名。若只因問題涉及手足，就把金星換成火星，等於放棄原本的排序規則；這份名單也無法說明是否有手足或將發生何種爭執。
八項法中的 BK 會換人嗎？
可能會。BK 在兩種表中同為第三名，但八項法須先加入反算羅喉；若新參與者排在原第三名之前，占有角色的行星就可能不同。
討論家庭時，實際處境和當事人意願比象徵標籤更重要。角色不足以支持責備、偏袒或認定親屬必然採取某種行為。
