Overview
Aspects are measured angular separations between chart factors, while meanings assigned to those angles belong to declared interpretive traditions. The page separates calculation from interpretation and keeps this worked result conditional: wrapped separation is 4°, not 356°; the conjunction passes by 2°. Astrology aspects are measured angular relationships between two chart factors. The commonly used major aspects are conjunction at 0 degrees, sextile at 60 degrees, square at 90 degrees, trine at 120 degrees, and opposition at 180 degrees, each evaluated with a declared orb. A Sun sign alone does not identify the aspects in a birth chart, and geometric contact does not establish a personality trait or event. Verification follows this declared method: Normalize both longitudes to 0–360°, compute the smallest separation, compare it with a named exact angle, and disclose the orb rule.

Interpret the pair only after checking houses, signs, rulership, and repeated chart evidence.
