Definition and Scope
Mundane astrology is routed here as the study of traditional collective-chart conventions, never as privileged intelligence about public events. The hub keeps chart types, jurisdictions, time sources, institutions, chart subjects, and observable datasets explicit. That separation prevents an ingress, eclipse, national inception, leader’s nativity, or long cycle from silently becoming a proxy for a population, an election result, a market move, or an emergency.
Evidence and Repeatable Method
The eight guides separate the mundane field itself, ingresses, lunations and eclipses, conjunction and outer-planet cycles, house mappings, nation or city inception charts, leader and event charts, and uncertainty ethics. Skyscript’s historical practice pages and the NCGR curriculum document those method families and their terminology. They cannot validate causation, so chart provenance, base rates, comparison windows, counterexamples, and public datasets remain mandatory parts of the receipt.
Worked Example and Near Miss
A study of a national ingress names the capital, time standard, chart type, house system, publication date, comparison period, and public indicators before reading symbolism. A leader’s natal chart, an inauguration, an eclipse, and economic statistics remain separate evidence units. The near miss is selecting one famous event after the fact, inventing a disputed founding time, erasing contrary cases, or turning a broad collective symbol into a claim about every citizen.
Schools and Method Variants
Methods disagree about national inception moments, capitals, house systems, house-to-institution mappings, ingress locations, eclipse visibility, planetary cycles, orbs, leaders, and event-chart priority. The hub requires each model to publish those choices and to retain competing charts when provenance is disputed. It does not retrofit one convention to each historical episode or pool unlike political systems into a single symbolic score.
