Definition and Scope

Use Mars to frame initiative, pursuit, frustration, assertion, and repair, not as a character verdict. The audit lists Mars by sign and house, applying close aspects, speed or retrogradation when relevant, house rulerships, and the birth-time confidence behind any house claim. It then compares the symbolic hypothesis with several real conflicts, including one counterexample. Practitioner sources document the interpretive vocabulary; the evidence for a useful reading is whether a specific regulation or boundary strategy improves observable conduct without erasing context or accountability.

Evidence and Repeatable Method

Map Mars sign, house, aspects, speed, and relevant rulers, then compare triggers, bodily signals, chosen actions, and repair outcomes.

Worked Example and Near Miss

A tense Mars-Saturn pattern becomes a log of moments when urgency meets delay, followed by a test of pause, boundary, and next-action scripts.

Across five conflict entries, the reader counts how often urgency, delay, criticism, or fatigue preceded escalation and which pause or boundary action changed the sequence. A Mars-Saturn hypothesis survives only as a prompt if the logged pattern recurs; it is rejected as an explanation when the facts point instead to workload, unsafe conduct, substance use, or an unresolved agreement.

“Mars made me do it” replaces accountability, safety planning, and evidence about what actually happened during a conflict.

Schools and Method Variants

Some schools read Mars psychologically as drive; others emphasize sect, dignity, malefic condition, and concrete house topics.

Limits, Product Boundary, and Safe Use

Mars does not prove violence, excuse intimidation, assign blame, or predict that conflict is inevitable. For one week, record the triggering event, body signal, first impulse, chosen action, other person’s stated boundary, and whether repair occurred; do not record a symbolic story in place of what happened. Choose one pause script and one safe next action to test. Threats, abuse, self-harm risk, or immediate danger require direct safety planning and professional or emergency help. Responsibility remains with the person acting, never with a planet.
