Overview

An almuten is the planet receiving the highest declared dignity score over a degree or selected chart factors, and it is not automatically the sign ruler or chart ruler. The page separates calculation from interpretation and keeps this worked result conditional: Sun receives exaltation, day-triplicity, and face points; every candidate total and any tie are published. Verification follows this declared method: Publish the scoring table, calculate each candidate’s domicile, exaltation, triplicity, term, and face points, then show ties and omitted factors.

Definition and exact scope

an almuten is the planet receiving the highest declared dignity score over a degree or selected chart factors, and it is not automatically the sign ruler or chart ruler

Calculation or decision rule

publish the scoring table, calculate each candidate’s domicile, exaltation, triplicity, term, and face points, then show ties and omitted factors

Worked case and illustrative near miss

15°♈ in a day chart; Lilly-style scores 5/4/3/2/1; Egyptian bounds and Chaldean faces. Sun receives exaltation, day-triplicity, and face points; every candidate total and any tie are published.

Illustrative near miss: Choosing Mars only because it rules Aries ignores the selected degree’s other dignity testimonies.

School and variant boundary

Tables and procedures differ by author, era, translation, and sect; the selected authority must remain visible.

Product, safety, and verification boundary

OpenFate presents Almuten as a sourced knowledge method and does not claim a dedicated calculator or generated reading for it. Verification retains failed measurements and uncertainty, then revises interpretation rather than the receipt. Almuten cannot diagnose a person, remove consent, or guarantee an event.
