Panchanga 五要素：角度公式与计算实例
核对 Tithi、Nakshatra、Nitya Yoga、Karana 与 Vara 的不同输入，用太阳40度、月亮65度练习边界与序号。
概览
Panchanga 五要素并不使用同一个公式。月日和半月日取日月角差；月宿取恒星黄道月亮位置；Nitya Yoga 取日月黄经之和；星期则需要日期和当地日界约定。

先把输入和取模规则写清
令 Δ＝（月亮黄经−太阳黄经）mod 360°。月日序号为 floor(Δ/12°)+1，半月日序号为 floor(Δ/6°)+1；Karana 名称还须按固定与循环次序映射。
月宿序号为 floor(恒星黄道月亮黄经/13°20′)+1。Nitya Yoga 则把恒星黄道日月黄经之和先归一到0°至360°内，再除以13°20′取整加一；它不是本命行星组合所称的 Yoga。星期不能由这几个角度直接推出。
太阳40°、月亮65°得到什么？
设两者均为虚构的恒星黄道黄经。角差25°落在第三月日，即盈半月的第三日；月亮65°落在第五月宿 Mrigashira。日月和105°对应第八个 Nitya Yoga：Dhriti。
25°对应第五个半月日区间，按名称序列为 Taitula。前半个盈月第一日是固定的 Kimstughna，之后才开始 Bava 等七项循环；因此不能把六十段全部从 Bava 简单重复。
哪些边界容易算错？
区间采用下含上不含：角差到6°进入下一半月日，到12°进入第二月日，360°须先归回0°。Karana 有七个循环名和四个固定名，不能把序号直接当作十一项无条件轮转。
对太阳和月亮减去相同岁差值，角差不变；但月亮本身及日月和会改变，所以月宿与 Nitya Yoga 不能省略黄道设置。数值复算只验证这些关系，不证明吉凶或人格。
