概覽

Uttara Phalguni 從恆星黃道獅子26°40′延伸至處女10°，總黃經146°40′至160°。第一 pada 在獅子，第二至第四在處女；整宿都對應 Vimshottari 太陽期。

同一星宿為何分屬兩個星座？

150°把這個區段切開。第一分區月亮在獅子，後三分區在處女；只知道宿名，不能直接選擇哪一個月亮星座，還需要度數或 pada。

太陽主管獅子，水星主管處女；太陽的大運對應則涵蓋全宿。進入處女並不使本宿的計時星改成水星，也不告訴你水星實際在哪裡。

處女0°仍是本宿的 pada 2

假設月亮總黃經150°，即處女0°。從146°40′已走3°20′，開始 pada 2；Hasta 尚未開始，它的起點是160°。

還有四分之三宿，月亮起運餘額為6×3/4＝4.5大運年太陽期。日曆終點需要出生時刻與年長規則，不能只靠宿名補出精確日期。

Uttara 不代表更高的人格等級

前綴是區別相鄰區段的名稱，不是對人的成熟或階級評分。名字相近也不意味出生月亮或大運對應星相同。
