Punarvasu 星宿：雙子至巨蟹
核對 Punarvasu 前三分區在雙子、第四分區在巨蟹，理解0°巨蟹沒有換宿，以及木星期餘額如何計算。

Punarvasu 從恆星黃道雙子20°延伸至巨蟹3°20′，總黃經80°至93°20′。前三個 pada 在雙子，第四個在巨蟹；整宿的 Vimshottari 對應星是木星。

宿名不足以決定月亮星座
本宿多數範圍在雙子，最後3°20′卻在巨蟹。需要度數或已正確計算的 pada，才能知道是哪一邊；不能把 Punarvasu 當成單一月亮星座。
雙子由水星主管，巨蟹由月亮主管，木星的大運對應則跨越兩者。這不顯示木星的實際位置，也沒有證明它在命盤中的強弱。
0°巨蟹開始第四分區
假設月亮總黃經90°，即巨蟹0°。從80°起點已走10°、600角分，進入 pada 4；若從巨蟹0°重算，會錯叫它 pada 1。
只剩200/800，依月亮起運法為16×1/4＝4大運年木星期。直到93°20′才進入 Pushya，不能因星座改變就提前換星宿。
相同宿名仍需保留不同背景
兩個 Punarvasu 月亮可能分居雙子與巨蟹，星座主星因此不同。共有傳統主題不能抹去差異，更不能單獨決定一段關係是否適合。
日期限定的查詢工具可能用了預設時刻。應檢查出生時間的可能範圍；接近90°時，星座和 pada 或有歧義，但 Punarvasu 本身仍可能確定。
