Hasta 星宿：處女座與月亮期
查明 Hasta 的處女座範圍，用第四分區後段的月亮計算餘額，並分清月亮大運、水星主星與能力詮釋。

Hasta 位於恆星黃道處女10°至23°20′，總黃經160°至173°20′。本宿的 Vimshottari 對應星是月亮，而處女座主星是水星；兩種歸屬不可相互替代。

不是每個處女月亮都在 Hasta
處女較早的部分屬 Uttara Phalguni，較晚的部分屬 Chitra，Hasta 只占中間13°20′。具體度數是選擇宿名的依據，不能把星座直接換成星宿。
若月亮恰好是本宿占據者，它同時也是本宿的大運對應星。這種重合沒有使月亮成為處女座主星，水星的位置仍要另看。
處女21°40′還剩多少？
假設月亮總黃經171°40′，即處女21°40′。它從160°走了11°40′、700角分，位在170°開始的 pada 4。
剩下1°40′，也就是100角分。按月亮起運規則，10×100/800＝1.25大運年月亮期；已走的700/800不能拿來當作尚餘比例。
手的意象不是技能測試
傳統名稱若與手藝相連，也不能證明靈巧、職業或操作能力。這些結果需要訓練和實際表現的證據，不能從星宿落點得出。
核對工具時，170°只換 pada，173°20′才換 Chitra。分清兩種邊界，才能判斷是細分區差異還是星宿差異，不必依靠個性敘述猜測。
