Chitra 星宿：處女與天秤的分界
核對 Chitra 的兩個處女、兩個天秤分區，用天秤0°說明星座改變而星宿不變，並區分區段與物理恆星。

Chitra 從恆星黃道處女23°20′到天秤6°40′，總黃經173°20′至186°40′。四個 pada 平分在處女和天秤；整宿的 Vimshottari 對應星是火星。

等長星宿不是一顆恆星
這裡的 Chitra 是指定恆星黃道設定下的13°20′區段。物理恆星本身有位置和自行，一個天體點並不是整個星宿，也不能取代本頁區間。
所屬星座從水星主管的處女，轉為金星主管的天秤；火星的計時對應不變。命盤提到三顆行星可能只是不同角色，不表示它們彼此合相。
中點也是天秤的起點
假設月亮總黃經180°，即天秤0°，從173°20′已走6°40′，開始 pada 3。179°59′則仍在處女，屬本宿 pada 2。
在中點餘半宿，月亮起運得到3.5大運年火星期。如果180°是上升點而非月亮，同樣可定位 Chitra，但不能拿它替代月亮設定這套大運。
熟悉的歲差名稱不保證同一設定
有的歲差修正名稱帶有 Chitra 字樣；名稱熟悉，仍不代表不同應用實際數值相同。應保存具體模式和計算黃經，再檢查差異。
美貌、才華或感情結果不能由 Chitra 證明。可重算的是位置與 pada；象徵敘述需另附傳統來源，不可當作計算已建立的事實。
