跨星座不一定換主星
在300°，星座和 pada 都改變，但七星制度中摩羯、水瓶共同由土星主管。火星的計時角色也沒變，這正好說明不能把每次換星座都寫成換主星。
相對固定上升點，整宮制的宮位仍可能改變。共用主星不會讓兩個星座成為同一座標或同一宮，宮位參照仍要獨立聲明。
非整季比例的月亮示例
假設月亮在水瓶1°45′，總黃經301°45′。自293°20′已走8°25′＝505角分，屬 pada 3；距終點還有295角分。
月亮起運餘額為7×295/800＝2.58125大運年火星期。不能改用已走的505角分；這個小數也不是日曆終點，仍需出生時刻和年長制度。
