Prepare the birthday

Use a documented date if available. Check whether the source record is Gregorian or lunar before typing the numbers.

Do not enter a lunar birthday in a Gregorian field or invent a missing year.

Read the conversion result

The product first converts the date using its Japanese calendar convention. The lunar month and day supply the lookup inputs.

A screenshot containing only a mansion name is not enough to diagnose a disagreement between tools.

Read the returned mansion

Use the full name and any known script variants to find its Wiki entry. The 27-mansion directory preserves a single owner for each identifier.

Do not replace the result with a mansion selected from a personality quiz.

What if the birthday is uncertain?

Run only the documented candidate dates and preserve the uncertainty. If they return different mansions, show both as conditional results.

A description that sounds attractive cannot settle an uncertain civil date.

What comes next?

Read the natal description separately from the modern exercises. For compatibility, repeat the input checks for the other person with their consent.

A real calculation belongs in the linked tool; this page explains the procedure rather than providing a second unverified calculator.

Use a result receipt

Copy the fields in this order: Gregorian date → lunar year/month/day → leap status → mansion → policy version. A second calculator can then be compared field by field.

If only the final mansion differs, do not change the birthday; investigate the roster, month-start entry and counting convention.
