Editorially reviewed:

Overview

Luck cycles can activate Ten-God combinations by introducing a missing role, exposing a hidden stem, supplying a root, completing a relation, or damaging an existing path. The natal chart remains the baseline; a Luck Pillar defines the wider period, and annual luck supplies a shorter trigger. A period symbol is not automatically effective, and activation does not guarantee a corresponding event.

Freeze the natal relation map first

Record the natal roles, their strength, position, structure, and unresolved paths before adding timing.

This prevents later events from being used to rewrite the original chart.

  • Preserve natal provenance.
  • No hindsight remapping.

Add the Luck Pillar as a bounded operating layer

Map its stem and branch roles, roots, combinations, clashes, and whether it supports or obstructs the natal relation.

A decade can alter availability without changing the natal symbols.

  • Name the ten-year mechanism.
  • Keep baseline and period separate.

Use annual luck as a trigger, not a standalone verdict

Test how the annual stem and branch interact with both natal chart and active Luck Pillar.

State whether the year introduces, completes, reveals, redirects, or damages the mechanism and when that claim ends.

  • Require cross-layer support.
  • Set an expiry.

Do not equate activation with occurrence

A supported timing relation is an interpretive condition, not proof of marriage, promotion, illness, litigation, wealth, or loss.

Consequential claims require direct evidence and calibrated uncertainty.

  • No event certainty.
  • No professional-advice substitution.
