Overview
The Month Command (月令) supplies the primary seasonal context for Ten-God combinations. It helps determine which phases are timely, which hidden stems govern, and which pattern hypotheses deserve priority. It does not automatically decide the chart: roots elsewhere, exposed stems, branch assemblies, transformations, damage, and the full structure can reinforce or reverse a preliminary reading.

Record the solar-term boundary, month branch, hidden stems, and the adopted rule for governing qi.
Then map those stems into Ten-God roles relative to the Day Master.

Compare whether the combination members are timely, supported, resting, imprisoned, or depleted in the current season.

Check roots, exposure, branch meetings, combinations, clashes, and strong sources elsewhere in the chart.
Explain when those facts reinforce the month or provide sufficient counterweight.
