Overview

Jia Wu Decade Void: Chen and Si is 甲午旬空亡辰巳. Its sequence is 甲午、乙未、丙申、丁酉、戊戌、己亥、庚子、辛丑、壬寅、癸卯. The ten stems end before Chen and Si receive partners, making them the Void pair for any Day Pillar in this decade. OpenFate derives Chen–Si from the Day Pillar and checks the other three natal branches. It preserves each matching branch’s hidden stems and relationships and does not turn “Void” into literal emptiness.

Jia Wu through Gui Mao is the complete lookup set

The sequence advances 甲午、乙未、丙申、丁酉、戊戌、己亥、庚子、辛丑、壬寅、癸卯. After Gui, the remaining branches in this decade are Chen and Si.

A chart belongs to this lookup only when its complete Day Pillar is one of those ten. Similar characters elsewhere do not determine the pair.

  • Check the complete Day Pillar against the ten-pair list.
  • Return Chen–Si without borrowing neighboring decade rules.

Chen and Si remain substantive branches

Chen keeps its stored stems and Earth-season context; Si keeps its Fire and stored-stem structure. Their combinations, clashes, punishments, harms and roots remain chart evidence when a Void marker is also present.

Void can be discussed as a change in expression or availability within a named school, but it cannot erase all other data or become a single deterministic outcome.

  • Read the actual branch before the added marker.
  • State school-specific effects as interpretation, not calculation.

OpenFate performs the pair lookup without deleting evidence

The engine computes Chen–Si from the Day Pillar and records the source pillar when a non-day branch matches. Other element, Ten God and branch-relation calculations continue normally.

The Wiki neither changes weights nor claims that a combination or clash automatically removes Void. Saved reports stay intact.

  • Keep the Void marker additive and traceable.
  • Do not silently change weights or stored reports.

Chen–Si Void cannot predict concrete harm

It does not prove illness, disability, property failure, infertility, separation, financial loss, litigation, fire, accident, disappearance or death.

Use direct evidence and qualified professionals for health, legal, financial, relationship and safety decisions.

  • No health, property, legal, accident or death prediction.
  • No high-stakes decision from the marker.
