Gnatikaraka: GK Rank, Name Variants and Limits

Gnatikaraka, often written Jnaati or Gyati Karaka, is GK: sixth in the seven-role list and seventh in the eight-role list. Traditional kinship or rivalry language is not evidence that a particular person is an enemy.

Why does the name have several spellings?
The cited chapter discusses the difficult transliteration behind Jnaati and uses GK or JK. Gnatikaraka and Gyati Karaka can point to that same role; the spelling alone does not imply a different ranking algorithm.
The text notes both a literal kinship meaning and a conventional rivalry usage. Neither meaning licenses assigning a hostile motive to a real relative or coworker. Define the historical term without turning it into an accusation.
A sixth-place Saturn
In an invented seven-role input, Sun has 29°, Moon 24°, Mars 20°, Mercury 16°, Jupiter 12°, Saturn 7° and Venus 1° of within-sign advance. Saturn is sixth and receives GK.
That arithmetic does not mean a Saturn-associated person must cause harm. If moving to an eight-role comparison, GK becomes seventh and Rahu’s reversed advance must first be inserted; copying this sixth-place label would be incomplete.
Does GK diagnose conflict or disease?
No. The role is not a test of another person’s intentions or a medical finding. Record an actual disagreement, boundary or symptom through appropriate real-world evidence rather than interpreting an abbreviation as proof.
For a reproducibility check, keep participant list, precision, tie policy and the full role ordering. If any of these are unavailable, explain what cannot yet be assigned instead of making the most alarming reading.
