Overview

Day-pillar Nayin belongs to the complete day Jiazi, not to the Day Master stem alone and not to the day branch alone. A declared Nayin method may compare this pair-level phase with other pillars, but standard Zi Ping analysis still reads the Day Master and spouse palace through their direct identities and relationships.

Use the exact day-cycle result

The day pillar must come from the same verified calendar engine used for the report, especially around time-zone and day-boundary cases.

Once the Jiazi is fixed, its Nayin is a direct table lookup.

  • Reuse the frozen day pillar.
  • Do not recalculate dates inside the article layer.

Keep Nayin separate from the Day Master

The Day Master is the visible Heavenly Stem of the day pillar and anchors Ten-God relations; day Nayin classifies the whole pair.

A Nayin phase cannot change the Day Master’s direct phase, polarity, roots, or strength.

  • Label Day Master and Nayin separately.
  • Never substitute one for the other.

Keep Nayin separate from the spouse palace

The day branch can be read as the spouse palace in a declared palace framework, while Nayin belongs to the combined day Jiazi.

Neither the Nayin image nor its phase proves a spouse’s traits, relationship quality, or marital outcome.

  • Use relationship evidence from both charts where available.
  • Avoid third-person profiling.

Explain the exact comparison being made

If a school compares day Nayin with year, month, hour, partner, or timing Nayin, show the two entries and the relevant rule.

Do not convert an isolated generating or overcoming label into a universal good-or-bad score.

  • State the comparison target and direction.
  • Retain contrary direct chart evidence.
