Priority of Nayin vs. Structure and Strength
Set an explicit evidence order: direct pillars, month command, strength, Ten Gods, relations, and structure first; Nayin remains method-specific and auxiliary.
Overview
In a standard Zi Ping workflow, the verified four pillars, month command, roots, Day-Master strength, Ten Gods, direct stem-branch relations, and structure are read before Nayin. Nayin receives greater weight only when the analyst explicitly adopts a Nayin or classical Luming framework and applies that framework consistently.

Begin with the chart’s direct symbols
A reading first verifies the actual stems, branches, hidden stems, seasonal boundary, and pillar positions.
These symbols participate directly in Ten-God, root, combination, clash, and structure rules.
- Freeze the calculated chart before interpretation.
- Correct direct-data errors before adding Nayin.
Zi Ping structure and strength come before Nayin
Month command, support, drainage, control, roots, and structure provide the standard evidence for chart balance and function.
A pair-level Nayin phase cannot repair a missing root, change a Ten God, or reverse a direct clash.
- Do not use Nayin as a tie-breaking shortcut.
- Keep primary and auxiliary conclusions labeled.
A different school requires a different declared workflow
Classical Luming or Nayin-centered traditions may organize evidence around year-based or pair-level classifications.
That is a legitimate historical framework when named and applied consistently, but its conclusions should not be presented as if derived from Zi Ping strength rules.
- State the school at the start.
- Do not mix priorities only when convenient.
Preserve conflicts instead of forcing agreement
If Nayin imagery suggests one emphasis while direct structure suggests another, report the difference and lower confidence.
Combining every favorable phrase into one verdict creates confirmation bias rather than stronger evidence.
- Show counterevidence.
- Avoid composite destiny scores.
