Overview

Punishments, harms, and breaks are separate traditional branch-relation families with different fixed pair or group tables. A reliable reading names the adopted table, confirms every participant, handles repetitions and school variants, and then evaluates season, position, overlapping combinations or clashes, and timing. None of the three labels is proof of abuse, crime, illness, betrayal, or misfortune.

Keep the three relation families separate

Punishment, harm, and break have different tables and should remain separate relation types in data and prose.

Combining them into one generic “bad interaction” removes the exact rule and prevents readers from checking the calculation.

  • Store relation type and participants.
  • Never substitute one family for another.

Declare disputed and school-specific rules

Self-punishment counts, group completion, and precedence can differ among traditions and modern implementations.

A product should identify its convention and version, and show uncertainty rather than quietly presenting a disputed rule as universal.

  • Document the adopted table.
  • Flag variant-dependent results.

Evaluate overlap and activation after identification

The same branch may also join a combination or clash, so all candidates, strengths, and competing claims must be visible.

Luck or annual repetition can activate a relation temporarily, but the overlay should not be written back into the natal chart.

  • Resolve all overlapping relations.
  • Keep timing provenance and duration.

Adverse terminology is not evidence of harm

These labels cannot prove violence, abuse, crime, infidelity, illness, injury, self-harm, or another person’s intent.

If real safety concerns exist, use direct evidence and appropriate professional or emergency support—not symbolic inference.

  • Do not accuse or diagnose.
  • Escalate real risk through real-world channels.
