Emperor (帝旺) in the Twelve Life Stages

Overview
Emperor (帝旺) is stage five and the peak label in the Twelve Life Stage sequence. OpenFate returns it for 甲卯、乙寅、丙午、丁巳、戊午、己巳、庚酉、辛申、壬子、癸亥 and gives it a strong secondary tag. It comes after Official and before Decline, so “peak” describes the local cycle position rather than permanent dominance. 帝旺 does not prove a strong chart, leadership, fame, wealth, health, fertility, forceful personality or a peak period in real life.

Emperor is a local peak followed by Decline
The classical sequence uses 帝旺 for the most developed point of the qi metaphor. Its immediate movement into 衰 shows that the system is cyclic rather than a permanent ranking.
A local stage peak does not measure the total chart. Seasonal support, roots and interactions can produce a different assessment of usable strength.

Each stem reaches Emperor at its own branch
OpenFate’s table is 甲卯、乙寅、丙午、丁巳、戊午、己巳、庚酉、辛申、壬子 and 癸亥. The paired yin stem reaches the neighboring branch because its cycle runs in reverse.
Branch membership alone cannot create 帝旺. 寅, 午 or 申 must be evaluated against the exact reference stem and output layer.

The strong stage tag is not an extra promise or score
The engine can display 帝旺 in Star Fortune and Sitting Stage and classifies it strong in the stage table. It does not automatically strengthen every Ten God or approve a special pattern.
No index, report or saved result should double-count 帝旺 alongside roots or season. The page explains existing evidence without changing calculation behavior.

Emperor does not guarantee power, wealth or health
帝旺 cannot prove leadership, fame, confidence, aggression, high income, political power, athletic ability, fertility, robust health or long life. Nor does it identify the best decade or year without a separate timing calculation.
Employment, financial, medical and safety choices require present evidence. Do not use a symbolic peak label to rank people or approve risk.
