Tomb (墓) in the Twelve Life Stages
Check the ten Tomb-stage pairs, separate 十二長生 墓 from branch-storage and wealth-vault rules, and avoid literal burial or confinement claims.
Overview
Tomb (墓), also described as storage or 庫 in classical imagery, is stage nine between Death and Extinction. OpenFate maps it to 甲未、乙戌、丙戌、丁丑、戊戌、己丑、庚丑、辛辰、壬辰、癸未 and classifies it as medium. This Twelve Life Stage is not automatically the same as a branch storehouse, a Wealth Vault or an “opening the vault” rule. 墓 does not predict burial, death, confinement, hidden money, inheritance, property or inevitable stagnation.

Tomb uses a storage metaphor within the qi sequence
Classical wording compares 墓 with completed matter being stored. It follows 死 and precedes 絕, giving the metaphor a place in the return side of the cycle.
The everyday image of a grave must not be applied to a person. The label describes a stem–branch phase and nothing more by itself.

Tomb stage and branch storehouse need separate checks
The stage pairs are 甲未、乙戌、丙戌、丁丑、戊戌、己丑、庚丑、辛辰、壬辰 and 癸未. These involve the four Earth branches but remain reference-stem lookups.
A branch’s hidden stems and storehouse role are separate data. Calling every 墓 result a Wealth Vault collapses two different rule layers and can create false financial claims.

Medium stage strength does not create a vault score

Legal, medical, property and financial questions require documented facts and qualified advice. A symbolic storage stage is not evidence for those decisions.
