D24 Chaturvimshamsa divides each natal sign into twenty-four 1°15′ parts. Odd signs begin counting from Leo and even signs from Cancer. The chart’s traditional learning domain does not measure intelligence or guarantee exam and admission results.

Why are there twenty-four parts but twelve signs?

The number 24 describes subdivisions of each natal sign, not twenty-four houses. After the twelfth assigned sign, the count wraps through the zodiac again. Use the part number and starting sign together; a chart screenshot alone cannot reveal the source segment.

Compute from unrounded longitude. A displayed degree can conceal several 1°15′ segments if the display omits minutes. D24 lagna is especially sensitive to input uncertainty, but no fixed minutes-of-birth-time rule applies at every latitude and date.

An exact two-degree-thirty boundary

For odd Gemini, 2°29′ belongs to part two and maps from Leo to Virgo. At Gemini 2°30′ part three begins and maps to Libra. In even Taurus, 2°30′ uses the Cancer start and maps to Virgo instead.

To check a later segment, Gemini 17°30′ is part fifteen: 1,050 arcminutes ÷ 75 = 14 completed parts, so start part fifteen. Leo plus fourteen steps wraps to Libra. The count tests both boundary handling and zodiac wraparound.

What can an education reading responsibly discuss?

Rao Table 11 associates D24 with learning, knowledge and education. A useful question can concern study structure or sources of support, but a placement is not an IQ score, learning-disability diagnosis or admission decision. Real educational needs require actual observation and appropriate expertise.

Compare D24 with D1 only after verifying the division and ascendant. If birth-time uncertainty changes the D24 house layout, retain multiple candidates instead of treating a preferred story as verification. Use the D1 comparison guide to keep ruler and occupant evidence separate.
