What a Revealed Heavenly Stem Means (天干透出)
Learn what it means when hidden branch qi appears as a visible stem, how to verify the link, and why exposure does not guarantee strength or events.
Overview
A revealed Heavenly Stem is a visible stem that corresponds to qi stored in one or more Earthly Branches. Revelation makes a function explicit in the stem layer, but the claim must name the supporting branch, hidden stem, position, season, and whether the root remains usable. A revealed stem can still be weak, controlled, combined, or unrooted elsewhere, so exposure is not the same as power.
