Test transformation structures through an exact stem combination, transformed phase, season, roots, continuity, obstruction, and school-specific exclusions.
Overview
A transformation structure requires more than a stem combination. The source-specific rule must identify the pair, transformation phase, seasonal support, roots and continuity of the transformed qi, weak or absent resistance, and no decisive obstruction. If the threshold is incomplete, report a combination or transformation tendency rather than a formed transformation structure.

Verify the exact transformation candidate
Name the combining stems, their pillars, and the Five Phase associated with that canonical pair.
Proximity and combination establish a candidate relation, not successful transformation.
- Use exact stem identities.
- Preserve the original Ten-God labels.
Prove transformed qi can command and continue
Check month support, roots, same-phase reinforcement, and a coherent path for the transformed function.
A weak or isolated target phase cannot be assumed to replace the original relationship.

- Trace continuity across the chart.
Test resistance and exclusions
Strong original roots, competing combinations, controls, or a contrary Month Command may prevent full transformation.
Publish the adopted school’s exclusions and downgrade incomplete cases to tendency or nonformation.

Transformation is not personal reinvention
The term does not prove identity change, spiritual elevation, career conversion, or guaranteed fortune.
