Overview

Special structure is an umbrella label for exceptional, follow, transformation, concentrated, or named configurations defined differently across lineages. A page must identify the source, verify every required and disqualifying condition, test an ordinary structure alternative, and avoid treating rarity as quality or destiny.

Begin with a named source and rule

The same pattern name can carry different thresholds in different texts and schools.

State the adopted definition before inspecting the chart so the rule is not changed to fit the result.

  • Cite the exact pattern definition.
  • Keep school variants separate.

Test requirements and exclusions together

Verify the complete stems, branches, month, exposure, roots, support, continuity, and absence of disqualifying counterforces.

A partial match should be reported as resemblance, not successful formation.

  • Use positive and negative criteria.
  • Do not ignore a contrary root.

Compare the ordinary explanation

A coherent ordinary structure often explains more of the chart with fewer exceptional assumptions.

Explain why the special rule is necessary and what evidence would return the chart to the ordinary reading.

  • Prefer the better-supported model.
  • Publish the reversal condition.

Special does not mean superior

The label cannot prove genius, nobility, wealth, spiritual status, danger, or a unique fate.

Avoid promotional claims and preserve uncertainty where traditional sources disagree.

  • No rarity-based ranking.
  • No event certainty.
