A Successfully Formed Structure (成格)
Learn what successful structure formation means, how to prove the candidate’s anchor and functional path, and why formation is separate from quality and outcome.
Overview
A structure is formed when the chosen method’s required anchor, relationships, capacity, and access are present without a disqualifying contradiction. Formation must be demonstrated through exact chart symbols and rules. It does not by itself establish purity, high quality, favorable timing, wealth, status, or any promised life event.

Define formation before testing the chart
List the required anchor, participants, roots, support, control, and exclusions from the selected source.
A result is auditable only when the criteria existed before the chart was interpreted.
- Use a fixed checklist.
- Do not move thresholds after inspection.
Connect every required function
Show where the relevant stems and branches appear and how seasonal authority, roots, and generation or control allow them to operate.
A visible name without capacity or access cannot complete the functional path.

Check damage and rescue before confirming formation
Combinations, clashes, competing relations, or missing support may damage the candidate, while another function may rescue it.
Record both sides and distinguish intact formation from partial, damaged, or mixed states.

Formation is not a life guarantee
A formed Wealth, Officer, Output, or Resource structure does not certify money, rank, talent, education, or health.
Quality, timing, choices, institutions, and real conditions remain separate.
