Overview

Standard structures are school-defined pattern families generally organized from the Month Command and familiar Ten-God relations. The label identifies a conventional analytical route; it does not prove that the structure has formed, remained undamaged, reached high quality, or will produce a particular social or material outcome.

Treat standard as a classification term

The term usually groups commonly taught structures derived through the Month Command and Ten-God framework.

Because category lists differ, the page must name its source before claiming a universal set.

  • Publish the adopted taxonomy.
  • Preserve the original Chinese term.

A family name still requires formation evidence

Identify the relevant month qi, exposure, roots, support, control, and any relation that damages or rescues the structure.

A superficial resemblance is a candidate, not a completed structural judgment.

  • Separate category and formation.
  • List counterevidence.

Compare standard and special claims on equal evidence

A chart should not be moved to a special category merely because the label sounds rarer or more prestigious.

Evaluate both candidates through their own complete rules and retain the one better supported by the natal chart.

  • No rarity preference.
  • Use rule completeness as the tie-breaker.

Standard does not mean average or normal

The term does not diagnose normality, ability, character, class, or life quality.

It is a technical grouping and cannot guarantee employment, rank, wealth, health, or relationships.

  • Avoid human-normality language.
  • Keep outcomes evidence-based.
