Mixed Bazi Structures (格局混雜)
Evaluate mixed structures by mapping competing anchors and functions, their strength and access, and whether mediation creates a workable hierarchy.
Overview
A mixed structure contains two or more materially supported pattern claims, conflicting functions, or an unclear priority under the chosen method. Mixing is not automatically failure. The reader should map each candidate, compare seasonal authority and access, identify conflict or mediation, and explain whether one structure leads, several coexist, or the result remains unresolved.
At a glance
- Trigger
- Multiple supported structure candidates
- Comparison
- Season, roots, exposure and access
- Possible relation
- Competition, coexistence or mediation
- Valid output
- Primary, secondary, mixed or unresolved

- Mixed does not describe identity or mental state
Map every viable candidate
For each pattern, list its Month-Command basis, participants, roots, support, and formation conditions.
Exclude superficial names but retain candidates that have real structural evidence.
- Use the same evidence fields for each.
- Do not favor the first label found.
Compare priority and operational strength
Seasonal command, exposure, rooting, position, and a complete functional path can make one structure primary.
If no candidate clearly leads, report a mixed result rather than inventing a tie-breaker.
- Explain the priority rule.
- Allow unresolved outcomes.
Test conflict, mediation, and side effects
A connecting element may allow two functions to coexist, while another relation may intensify competition.
Record whether mediation is rooted and reachable and what cost remains.
- Trace the mediator.
- Preserve remaining contradiction.
Mixed is not disordered or defective
It does not diagnose confusion, instability, mental illness, moral inconsistency, or failure.
The label belongs to a chart model and cannot substitute for direct evidence about a person.
- Avoid stigmatizing language.
- No automatic negative prediction.
