Overview

Birth time rectification compares a bounded set of candidate charts against independently sourced, dated evidence. A defensible workflow fixes the calendar, location, time-zone, solar-time and day-boundary settings first; generates only distinct candidate charts; defines scoring rules before reviewing outcomes; and reports the leading candidates with reasons and confidence. It is an inference process vulnerable to memory error and overfitting, not proof of an exact birth minute.

Start with a bounded, reproducible candidate set

Use the source time range and split it only where a pillar changes. Each candidate retains the same verified date, birthplace and calculation settings.

If a candidate requires changing the time zone or boundary doctrine after the fact, it is a different methodology test and must not be mixed into the same ranking.

Prefer specific dated records over broad self-descriptions

Documents and independently recorded dates are usually stronger than memories such as “I was often lucky.” Evidence categories should be selected before seeing which hour they favor.

A single dramatic event can match many symbolic narratives. Use multiple evidence families and preserve contradictions rather than discarding them.

Score consistently and explain why candidates differ

The same rules and weights must be applied to every candidate. The result should show which deterministic chart differences produced each evidence match.

Cross-validation or a held-out evidence set reduces overfitting. A close score should remain a close result instead of being converted into false confidence.

Rectification cannot prove a birth minute or predict outcomes

Traditional correspondences and retrospective life data do not provide an independent scientific clock. The output is a ranked hypothesis whose reliability depends on its sources and method.

Do not overwrite the original unknown time, and do not use a rectified result as medical, legal, financial or relationship evidence.
