Overview

Bazi Fate-Star methodology treats Shen Sha as source-specific lookup records rather than literal predictions. It fixes the table version, reference stem or branch, target symbol, pillar placement, and time layer before interpretation, then ranks any relevant clue below Month Command, strength, structure, Ten Gods, and direct stem-branch relations.

Treat every Fate Star as a lookup result

A marker exists only when a named source rule connects a specific reference stem or branch with a matching target symbol.

The output should preserve the table version, anchor, target, and pillar rather than displaying an unexplained auspicious or adverse label.

  • Show the complete lookup path.
  • Do not infer a marker from its poetic name.

Use markers to add bounded context

Pillar position, repetition, and contact with a timing layer can make a marker more relevant to the question being studied.

That relevance remains interpretive and must be cross-checked against direct chart relations and the topic’s real evidence.

  • Separate presence from relevance.
  • Keep the claim conditional.

Read the structural map first

Month Command, Day Master strength, Ten Gods, roots, patterns, and stem-branch interactions supply the primary chart evidence.

A Shen Sha label may refine that map but cannot overturn it merely because the traditional name sounds favorable or severe.

  • Core structure has higher evidential weight.
  • Explain conflicts instead of hiding them.

Keep historical names away from sensitive claims

Names involving romance, illness, robbery, mourning, nobility, or disaster do not prove affairs, diagnoses, crimes, deaths, status, or accidents.

Health, legal, financial, safety, and relationship decisions require current facts and qualified support.

  • No fear-based literalization.
  • No sensitive-trait inference.
