Overview

Clashes, Combinations and Punishments (刑沖合會) is a shorthand for several distinct stem–branch interaction families, including generation, control, stem combinations, branch harmonies, meetings, clashes, punishments, harms and breaks. Each family has fixed participants and may have extra conditions for transformation, completion or effective change. The mere presence of two characters proves only the base relation, not a specific event or final result. OpenFate preserves the participants, pillar positions and competing relations so interpretation can follow an explicit order.

刑沖合會 contains several rules, not one blended effect

A stem combination is not the same operation as a branch harmony; a clash, punishment, harm and break also have different pair or set tables.

An explanation should first identify the family and exact symbols involved. Translating every relation as conflict or attraction destroys the calculation.

  • Name the interaction family precisely.
  • List every participating stem or branch.

Presence, completion and transformation are separate claims

Two branches can form a base harmony relation without producing a transformed phase. Three-part meetings and combinations also distinguish complete from partial sets.

Season, support, obstruction, distance and competing relations may matter under the declared method. Those conditions must be shown rather than hidden in a verdict.

  • Separate detection from transformation.
  • State missing and blocking conditions.

OpenFate records relations before editorial interpretation

The engine uses canonical interaction tables and keeps pillar positions, dynamic cycle symbols and deduplication rules visible to downstream features.

Wiki copy explains the current rule boundary but does not add an event prediction, silently neutralize a relation or change a stored report.

  • Keep detected evidence traceable.
  • Version calculation policy separately from prose.

A clash is not automatically disaster and a combination is not automatically harmony

These relations cannot by themselves prove divorce, violence, illness, litigation, relocation, promotion, romance, wealth or reconciliation.

Real-world decisions need direct facts and the whole chart context. Avoid fear-based language and never use a symbolic interaction to accuse another person.

  • No event prediction from one relation.
  • No moral or relationship judgment from names alone.
