Overview
Favorable God (喜神) is a supporting function judged helpful to a chart’s declared strategy, commonly because it assists, protects or enables the Useful God. It should be derived only after the primary method and function are clear. 喜神 can differ across methods and timing contexts, and it is not simply every phase that appears beneficial in a generic cycle. The label is not a universally lucky element and does not guarantee that related colors, industries, people or dates will produce good outcomes.

喜神 is favorable in relation to a stated strategy
A function becomes 喜神 because it helps the chart’s primary regulation under the selected method. The label is relational, not an intrinsic property of an element.
Without a declared Useful God or strategy, “favorable” becomes circular. The explanation must say what is supported and how.

Useful God and Favorable God are related but not interchangeable
用神 names the primary functional regulator; 喜神 commonly names a function that supports, protects or enables it. Some schools use the vocabulary differently and should declare that usage.
A page should not merge both into a single list merely to produce more favorable elements. Role, priority and evidence remain separate.
