Five-Element Imbalance (五行失衡)

Define Five-Element imbalance through a declared chart function, evidence, and comparison baseline instead of equal-count targets or health claims.

Overview

Five-Element imbalance is a method-dependent conclusion that one or more phase functions are excessive, deficient, obstructed, or poorly coordinated relative to a chart question. It is not established by unequal counts, and there is no universal 20-percent target for each element. A reliable page names the baseline, evidence, affected function, competing interpretation, and conditions that could change the assessment.

Every imbalance claim needs a reference question

A chart may be assessed for Day-Master capacity, climate, pattern formation, passage, or another defined function.

A phase can be excessive for one function and useful for another, so “unbalanced” without a method is incomplete.

  • State the method first.
  • Name the affected function.

Use weighted evidence rather than raw counts

Month command, roots, exposed stems, hidden contents, generation, control, combinations, and climate contribute different kinds of evidence.

Two symbols can operate strongly while four unsupported symbols remain weak; the displayed quantity cannot settle the question.

  • Show seasonal and root evidence.
  • Separate count from effectiveness.

Describe conditions that regulate or worsen the state

A supported outlet, regulator, mediating phase, or timing influence may improve one path, while a new conflict can worsen another.

Do not reduce this conditional analysis to a permanent “lucky element” or recommend adding the least visible phase automatically.

  • List regulating conditions.
  • Preserve conditional conclusions.

Elemental imbalance is not bodily imbalance

The term cannot diagnose organs, hormones, nutrition, mental health, disability, fertility, or any disease.

It also cannot rank intelligence, morality, wealth, or relationship quality. Use medical and real-world evidence for those questions.

  • No medical mapping.
  • No ranking of people or outcomes.
