Overview
Spring begins with Yin, continues through Mao, and transitions through Chen under the Bazi solar-term calendar. Wood generally receives the strongest seasonal support; Fire develops from Wood, Water recedes after winter, Metal loses seasonal command, and Earth changes across the transition. These are relative tendencies, not final scores. Exact month, roots, exposure, combinations, moisture, temperature, and chart function can change the result.

Yin opens spring with residual cold, Mao centers Wood, and Chen introduces damp transitional Earth with stored qi.
