Read the Hour Pillar’s technical structure and later-facing palace meanings without making deterministic claims about children, projects, or old age.

The Hour-Pillar palace is the final stem-branch position, calculated from the effective birth time and Day Stem. Traditions may connect it with later developments, children, students, projects, private aims, or old age. These are contextual correspondences, not verified outcomes. The Hour Stem, Hour Branch, hidden stems, Day-Hour relationship, and whole chart must be read together.

Resolve the Hour Pillar before interpreting it
Confirm the birth location, civil time, time zone, daylight-saving status, chosen solar-time policy, and double-hour boundary. Then derive the Hour Stem from the resolved Day Stem.
If the time falls near a boundary or remains unknown, preserve the uncertainty and compare candidates. Interpretation should not hide an unresolved input.

Traditional mappings may connect the Hour Palace with children, descendants, students, projects, ambitions, private life, or later years. These labels differ by school and user question.
