Overview

A Ten God is determined by the Five Phase and polarity relationship to the Day Master. That calculation does not change because the symbol appears in the Year, Month, Day, or Hour Pillar. Position instead changes the traditional domain, distance, neighboring symbols, roots, and interactions through which the relation is read. Repetition can increase emphasis, but it does not multiply people or guarantee repeated events.

Keep the Ten God calculation stable

Direct Wealth, Officer, Resource, Output, and Peer labels come from a symbol’s relation to the Day Master. Moving the same stem conceptually to another pillar does not change that relation.

A hidden instance and a visible instance can share the label while differing greatly in availability and strength.

  • Verify phase direction and polarity once.
  • Do not rename a Ten God from its palace.

Use position to scope the question

Year can emphasize wider origin, Month development or environment, Day the self-seat and partnership context, and Hour later output or descendants in common palace methods.

These are traditional domains whose mappings vary. They organize inquiry but do not identify a real person or event.

  • State the palace framework used.
  • Keep position and occupant distinct.

Compare roots, neighbors, and cross-pillar links

An identical visible stem may root beneath one position, combine from another, or be controlled across the chart. Those structural differences often matter more than the column name.

Adjacent and non-adjacent contacts should be evaluated under a declared distance rule rather than an assumed universal hierarchy.

  • Trace each instance separately.
  • Retain simultaneous support and pressure.

Do not count symbols as people or outcomes

Two Wealth stars do not prove two partners or two fortunes; repeated Officer or Resource does not prove jobs, qualifications, parents, or illnesses.

Use repetition as structural emphasis, then require whole-chart, timing, and real-world corroboration.

  • Reject literal head counts.
  • Avoid deterministic family and career claims.
