Overview
Family affinity in Bazi is a structured comparison of a chosen family-role star, its pillar context, visible and hidden locations, strength, interactions, and timing contacts. It is not a score for love, loyalty, closeness, or permanence. Define the actual relationship first, disclose the mapping table, separate natal structure from timing, and compare symbolic observations with consent-based real-world evidence. A chart cannot verify another person’s feelings, conduct, health, identity, or future choices.

Define the relationship before selecting a symbol
Ask which relationship the reader wants to understand and how that person is related in real life. Modern families may require a user-defined role rather than a presumed biological or gendered label.
Record the school, role-star table, and pillar-palace convention used. If two methods map the role differently, present them as separate readings instead of silently mixing their evidence.
