Traditional Metal Correspondence with the Lungs
Explain the traditional Metal and Lung correspondence without using a chart to infer breathing capacity, infection, allergy, skin disease, or treatment needs.
Overview
Traditional Metal correspondence with the Lungs places the Metal phase beside classical Lung and Large Intestine networks and, in some tables, autumn, the nose, skin, body hair, and related categories. These historical correspondences are not a model of modern respiratory anatomy, gas exchange, immunity, dermatology, or bowel function. A Bazi chart can describe Metal stems, branches, hidden stems, season, roots, generation, control, and interactions, but cannot diagnose asthma, infection, allergy, chronic lung disease, cancer, oxygen levels, skin disease, or prognosis. Breathing symptoms and clinical decisions require direct assessment and validated evidence.

Separate the classical Lung network from modern pulmonology
Traditional tables group Metal with autumn, a classical Lung-Large Intestine network, the nose, skin, body hair, and other categories. This is a historical pattern of correspondence.
The network is broader than a modern lung and should not be silently translated into claims about alveoli, immunity, allergy, dermatology, or bowel disease.
- State the traditional source and category.
- Do not claim modern physiological equivalence.
Describe the chart’s Metal evidence only
Identify Geng, Xin, Shen, You, Metal hidden stems, seasonal command, roots, Earth support, Fire control, Water output, Wood relation, combinations, and clashes.
Metal being strong, weak, absent, excessive, dry, or contacted is not a lung-function test and does not reveal oxygen saturation, infection, allergy, or cancer risk.
- Trace the exact stems, branches, and relations.
- Keep element status separate from clinical status.
Use medical assessment for breathing and skin symptoms
Severe shortness of breath, blue lips, confusion, chest pain, coughing blood, or rapidly worsening symptoms require urgent medical attention. A chart cannot triage them.
Asthma, infection, allergies, chronic lung conditions, cancer, skin disease, bowel symptoms, medication effects, and prognosis need history, examination, and appropriate tests.
- Use emergency services for severe symptoms.
- Seek qualified care for persistent concerns.
Do not prescribe air, dryness, food, or Metal remedies
Do not alter inhalers, medication, oxygen, supplements, herbs, environmental exposure, diet, or treatment because Metal appears strong or weak in a chart.
Breathing exercises or cultural symbols may be discussed only with ordinary safety context and without claims that they prevent infection, cure disease, or correct Metal clinically.
- Medical treatment follows clinical evidence.
- No respiratory or remedial guarantee.
