How are personality strengths identified in Bazi?
Identify potential strengths from supported chart functions, usable flows, and real examples while avoiding fixed praise, ability claims, or employment screening.
Overview
A personality strength in Bazi should be framed as a chart function that appears usable under stated conditions and is supported by real examples. It is not a flattering list attached to an element, Day Master, or Ten God. Identify the question, trace the relevant configuration, check season, roots, access, flow, control, and trade-offs, then ask where the person has demonstrated the capacity. Describe contexts that help or limit it and distinguish potential from skill, training, performance, and outcome.

Define a strength as a conditional capacity
Choose a concrete function such as organizing information, sustaining effort, generating options, negotiating constraints, or communicating an output.
Avoid broad praise such as gifted, born leader, or naturally successful. A useful function depends on setting, practice, resources, and consequences.
- Name an observable capacity.
- State the context in which it helps.
Require a complete structural evidence chain
Link the hypothesis to a Day-Master relation, Five-Element flow, Ten-God configuration, month command, roots, access, and exact interactions rather than one symbol.
Check concentration, obstruction, excessive output, missing regulation, or competing configurations that could change the same capacity into a trade-off.
- Use multiple independent chart observations.
- Document conditions that weaken the hypothesis.
Validate potential with demonstrated behavior
Ask for a specific situation, action, result, and feedback. Repeated evidence across similar settings is more useful than agreement with a flattering description.
Separate preference, potential, trained skill, credential, performance, and outcome. The chart cannot supply missing practice or external opportunity.
- Look for repeated examples and counterexamples.
- Do not convert potential into guaranteed performance.
Do not use strength readings to rank people
Bazi cannot measure intelligence, competence, leadership, employability, academic ability, mental health, or comparative worth.
Hiring, promotion, education, treatment, and legal decisions require job-relevant or domain-relevant evidence, fair procedures, and qualified assessment—not birth data.
- No ranking or automated profiling.
- Keep high-stakes decisions outside Bazi.
