How Relations Affect the Ten Gods (合沖十神)
Trace how exact stem and branch combinations, clashes, punishments, harms, and breaks affect Ten-God carriers without deleting labels or forcing events.
Overview
Ten Gods are labels attached to stems relative to the Day Master; combinations and clashes act on the actual stems and branches carrying those labels. Identify the exact relation, participants, natal or timing source, strength, transformation conditions, competing relations, and counterevidence. A relation may bind, redirect, expose, disturb, or leave a function largely intact, but it does not erase the computed label or prove an event.

Start from the symbol carrying the Ten God
Name the visible or hidden stem, pillar or source branch, and its label before discussing a relation.
A branch clash does not directly clash an abstract Ten-God category; it affects the branch structure containing one or more stems.

- Do not let category names replace participants.
Verify relation identity and operating conditions
Match exact pairs or groups, then inspect distance, season, roots, competing combinations, and natal versus timing origin.
For transformation claims, show the transformation phase, support, obstruction, and adopted school rather than assuming every combination transforms.

Describe bounded structural effects
A relation can bind availability, redirect flow, expose stored qi, disturb a root, or connect previously separate functions.
Retain the original symbols and labels while recording the conditional effect as another layer.
