Overview

Ten-God strength is assessed from the actual stems carrying that label, not from name counts. Begin with seasonal command, then trace roots, visible and hidden occurrences, generation and control, combinations and clashes, storage, distance, and timing. Report a supported range with counterevidence rather than an invented score or a single strong-versus-weak tag.

Assess symbols before aggregating a category

Identify every visible and hidden stem mapped to the Ten God, along with its pillar and source branch.

Occurrences can have different strength, so category totals should preserve their evidence rather than flatten them into one count.

  • Build an occurrence-level evidence table.
  • Do not equate frequency with capacity.

Follow a stable evidence order

Start with month qi, then inspect roots and reveal, generation and drain, control, relation states, and chart position.

Only after the natal assessment should luck-cycle and annual symbols be added as bounded timing layers.

  • Use the same sequence across pages.
  • Keep natal and timing conclusions separate.

State what supports and what limits the label

A clear conclusion names both the strongest supporting condition and the most important obstruction.

If evidence conflicts, use a range such as available but constrained rather than manufacturing decimal precision.

  • Publish counterevidence with the conclusion.
  • Use qualitative ranges with defined criteria.

Strength is not usefulness, virtue, or success

A strong label can be poorly directed and a weak label can be useful in a specific structure or period.

Do not infer income, job rank, academic ability, health, morality, or relationship quality from Ten-God strength alone.

  • Separate capacity from role and outcome.
  • Keep high-stakes advice outside the score.
