Overview

Classical Bazi assigns certain Ten-God relationships to family-role questions, but the mapping varies by tradition, the reader’s reference rules, and the person being discussed. A responsible reading identifies the exact stem, pillar or palace, strength, relations, and timing, then treats the correspondence as symbolic context rather than proof about a real relative’s identity, health, behavior, or fate.

Declare the correspondence table before applying it

Classical sources contain role mappings that may differ by sex-based conventions and lineage, so the adopted table must be visible rather than implied.

Modern family structures, self-identified roles, guardianship, adoption, and same-sex relationships cannot be forced into an unspoken binary scheme.

  • Name the school and reference convention.
  • Let users define relevant family roles.

Combine the Ten God with position and condition

A family-role question should identify the relevant label, pillar or palace, hidden or revealed status, strength, and relation network.

One label appearing several times does not mean several literal relatives, and an absent label does not mean a person is absent.

  • Trace exact chart evidence.
  • Reject one-symbol literalism.

Treat timing as a theme, not an event certificate

Luck cycles may contact a family-associated function and make the topic more salient for a bounded period.

The overlay cannot establish illness, death, reunion, conflict, inheritance, pregnancy, or another person’s decisions.

  • Attach dates and source layers.
  • Keep event claims conditional.

Protect relatives who did not consent to analysis

Do not diagnose, accuse, rank, or reveal sensitive information about family members from someone else’s chart.

Use direct communication, records, medical or legal evidence, and safety support for real family decisions.

  • Avoid third-party profiling.
  • Prioritize consent and verifiable facts.
