Overview

Luck-cycle and annual Ten Gods are derived by comparing each incoming stem, and any relevant hidden stems, with the natal Day Master. They form dated overlays that can repeat, support, control, combine with, or expose natal functions. They do not replace the natal chart, permanently change its Ten-God map, or prove a specific event during that period.

Lock the natal Ten-God map first

Resolve the natal Day Master, visible stems, hidden stems, strength, structure, and relation network before adding time.

This baseline allows later changes in emphasis to be attributed to the correct layer.

  • Preserve a natal snapshot.
  • Do not recalculate labels from an incoming stem.

Derive and date each incoming symbol

Calculate the incoming stem’s Ten God against the natal Day Master and retain its luck-cycle or annual source.

If branch hidden stems are analyzed, keep each one attached to the incoming branch and the exact interval.

  • Store source and date range.
  • Keep luck and annual layers distinct.

Evaluate contact, capacity, and counterevidence

An incoming label may repeat a natal function, provide a root, complete a relation, or introduce control and competition.

Strength, chart need, simultaneous symbols, real context, and disconfirming evidence determine whether the theme is meaningful.

  • Name the activation mechanism.
  • Report competing influences.

Do not convert a dated label into a dated event

A wealth year does not guarantee profit, an officer year does not guarantee promotion or litigation, and a relationship label does not guarantee marriage.

Use practical plans, contracts, budgets, health information, consent, and safety evidence for real decisions.

  • Avoid event certainty and exact odds.
  • Treat timing as a bounded hypothesis.
