Overview

An Adverse Supporting God (仇神) is an element or Ten-God role that assists the chart’s identified unfavorable tendency, damages the selected Useful God, or extends the imbalance under a declared method. It is not universally adverse across all charts or periods. The label requires a prior diagnosis, an explicit causal path, and evidence that the candidate can actually act through season, roots, exposure, or interactions.

Derive the role from a diagnosed chart problem

First name the selected method and the imbalance or structural failure it is trying to address. 仇神 has no independent meaning before that diagnosis.

Then show whether the candidate feeds the unfavorable force, suppresses the Useful God, blocks mediation, or intensifies the climate problem.

  • State the governing method.
  • Write the complete adverse path.

Verify that the candidate can actually operate

A nominal generating relation is insufficient. Check season, roots, exposure, distance, combinations, and whether the target force is present.

Separate a latent adverse role from one that is active in the natal chart or a timing layer.

  • Grade availability and connection.
  • Distinguish potential from activation.

Keep Ji Shen and Chou Shen distinct

忌神 names the force judged unfavorable under the method; 仇神 commonly names what supports it or harms the corrective route. Some schools use the vocabulary differently.

Publish the adopted definitions and avoid assigning both labels merely to fill a five-role table.

  • Define both roles locally.
  • Allow for school-specific terminology.

Do not moralize the label

仇 means adversarial inside a technical relation, not an evil element, malicious personality, enemy, or person to avoid.

It cannot establish health, legal, financial, or relationship harm without independent real-world evidence.

  • No moral ranking of elements or people.
  • No consequential prediction from the label.
