A Useful God Exposed in the Heavenly Stems (用神透干) is visibly present at the stem layer rather than only stored inside a branch. Exposure can make the role easier to identify and able to enter direct stem relations, but it does not automatically make it strong or effective. Season, roots, source, position, combinations, restraint, and connection to the selected task still determine whether the exposed stem can operate.
