Neutral or Idle God in Bazi (閒神)

Overview
A Neutral or Idle God (閒神) is an element or role that does not materially advance the selected useful route or the diagnosed unfavorable route in the current layer. It may be weak, disconnected, redundant, balanced by another force, or simply outside the question being analyzed. “Idle” is conditional: a Luck Pillar, annual branch, combination, clash, or method change can make the same element consequential.

Define neutral relative to one method and question
State whether the analysis concerns strength balance, pattern integrity, climate, mediation, or another declared objective.
An element may be neutral for one objective while relevant to a different structural question.

Check whether the element lacks roots, cannot reach the target, duplicates an already sufficient function, or is offset by another relation.
Do not call a symbol idle merely because it is not the Useful God. Its direct interactions still require accounting.

Reassess when timing changes availability
