Overview
A Useful God is effective (用神有力) when the selected role can perform its required function in the relevant chart layer. Presence alone is insufficient: it needs adequate seasonal support or compensation, roots or a dependable source, exposure or access, a clear path to the target, and enough protection from combination, clash, control, or exhaustion.
