Overview
A Pattern-Based Useful God (格局用神) is the function required for a recognized Bazi structure to form, operate, avoid damage, or receive rescue. The analysis begins with the Month Command and pattern formation conditions, then checks clarity, supporting and damaging gods, and available remedies. Because the objective is pattern integrity rather than only Day-Master balance, its preferred role can differ from a Strength-Balancing Useful God.
