Tai Ji Noble maps Day Stem groups to branches: Jia-Yi seek Zi-Wu, Bing-Ding seek Mao-You, Wu-Ji seek Chen-Xu-Chou-Wei, Geng-Xin seek Yin-Hai, and Ren-Gui seek Si-Shen. It does not prove wisdom, spirituality, scholarship or metaphysical ability.

How is Tai Ji Noble calculated?
The Day Stems form five groups: Jia-Yi seek Zi-Wu, Bing-Ding seek Mao-You, Wu-Ji seek Chen-Xu-Chou-Wei, Geng-Xin seek Yin-Hai, and Ren-Gui seek Si-Shen. Any matching chart branch records its location.
The Wu-Ji group has four targets while the other groups have two. Match counts therefore should not be used to rank how much “Tai Ji” one person has.
- Select the complete target group from the Day Stem.
- Do not compare people by raw match counts.
Return the matched branch to chart structure
The matched branch can be a Day Master root, carry Ten Gods or participate in combinations and clashes. Those functional relationships come before the Tai Ji label.
A heavily clashed natal branch and a temporary annual match deserve different weight. Results should identify where and when the symbol appears rather than reducing it to yes or no.

- Separate stable natal conditions from temporary timing.
Inquiry and metaphysical interests
Traditional texts connect Tai Ji with seeking origins, reflection and religious or metaphysical interests. These are cultural themes, not diagnoses of belief, personality or cognitive ability.
Resource, Literary Noble, Canopy or Output structures may add related evidence, but stacking several symbols still does not prove that someone is a scholar, teacher or spiritual authority.
- Describe possible interests without certifying ability.
- Require primary chart support even when symbols overlap.
Interpretive limits for Tai Ji Noble
The presence of Tai Ji does not guarantee academic, religious or metaphysical achievement, and its absence does not imply shallow thinking. Education, practice and choice remain decisive.
The marker can explain a traditional rule, but it should not recommend beliefs, treatments, investments or careers. Such decisions require appropriate real-world evidence.
